Roads
| Roughan & O’Donovan has been involved in the full spectrum of road schemes from major motorways and national roads, rural improvement schemes, urban renewal schemes and quality bus corridor developments. Clients include city and county councils, roads authorities, design and build contractors, PPP consortia and private developers. We are a leading consultant to the National Roads Authority (NRA) in Ireland. We assist our clients from feasibility stage, through planning, preliminary and detailed design and undertake construction administration and supervision roles. Our environmental planning team has undertaken a large number of Environmental Impact Assessments on roads projects and this, together with our safety & health expertise, allows us to provide a one-stop solution for our clients. We have particular expertise in the design of roads incorporating provisions for public transport and cyclists. |
