Rail
| Roughan & O’Donovan has a dedicated Rail team working on heavy and light rail projects under the Transport 21 Programme. We are a principal consultant to Iarnród Éireann (Irish Rail) and have also undertaken significant infrastructure projects for the RPA. Our work for Iarnród Éireann includes a number of long-term framework commissions. One such appointment is the level crossing replacement programme where Roughan & O’Donovan has designed and administered the construction of over 20 rail bridges. Projects have included major public transportation bridges, the design of track infrastructure and major studies on the feasibility of re-opening and enhancing disused railway corridors. Light rail projects include major new bridges and the provision of new track infrastructure. |
